1) Contact: Charlie or Paul (619) 465-5043 for sign up dates and times.

2) Pick up your SHARE food package at your selected Host Site on the scheduled distribution day and time.

3) Volunteer any amount of time that you can to help a family member, friend, or neighbor. Anything to help someone out.

SHARE began in 1983 in California and was designed to help those on Social Security.  As the word of the program spread, it began appealing to everyone who wanted to "stretch their food dollars" and help out in their community.  SHARE is dedicated to providing monthly, consistent, affordable supplemental food packages to those willing to help themselves and others.  The Golden SHARE Food program started in March of 2005.  We have changed the model of the SHARE program but operate under the same principles of the original World SHARE, which is people helping people and building community through volunteer work.  We will strive for excellence in serving our community with the best quality food and service around.

The goal of Share is to help families to save up to 50% on their groceries, while always encouraging the building of relationships with your neighbors in the community.
